Hello sassy friends! I have a card to share with you today.
I have used Travel Lite today. I think she's all packed and ready to join her girlfriends for a weekend of fun! She's colored with copics and colored pencils and I've added some punched flowers with little black pearls. You can find this beautiful lady and her friends over at Funky Kits.
Also, have you checked out the latest challenge over at The Sugar Bowl? Our own lovely Maria Therese has designed the sketch this week and you still have a week to enter. You could be the lucky winner of some gorgeous Sugar Nellie stamps!
Thank you for stopping by. I hope I've inspired you to get your fingers inky today.
Hugs, Anita
Stamp: Sugar Nellie Simply Sassy - Travel Lite
Paper: My Mind's Eye Lost & Found - Madison Avenue; Bazzill

...here for you
Hi ladies, nice to see you again. Have you enjoyed Autumn's great tutorial? I'm sure you have. Thanks, Autumn, I'd love to make this for my daughter!
But I have something to share today too, what about this card? I have used the sweet ''Travel Lite'', coloured with Derwent pencils, papers from a Basic Grey paper pad -''Oxford'', some Die-namics to cut out the flowers and the hearts and the sentiment comes again from a Paper Makeup Set -''When there's nothing left to say"'.
I hope you like my card. I'd like to thank you again for the nice comments and see you next Monday, same time, same place.
Hugs,
Alina

another sneak

Happy friday Sassy fans!
It's the friday prior to our blog hop - and I know you're all as excited as we are. So have your cup of coffee ready tomorrow morning and hop along!
To give you something to look at until then I am sharing another sneak peak with you.
This cutie is called
Travel Lite.
So of course it inspired me to make something travelling related.
This isn't a card but a little book. The inside is made from envelopes (not decorated yet as I don't know which pictures I'll put in). Those can be filled with tags, photos, letters and notes... Whatever you think is worth being kept from this vacation.
I gave this album the shape of an old suitcase. The corners are rounded but then I decided to use some punched corners instead. And I went through my stash to make even the embellishments travel related. I had that Sizzix die of the car for ages and it was just sitting there, waiting for a project like this.
All those stamps are by Stampin'Up and I put one of them on a little tag so it looks like the name tag on a real suitcase.
The street sign is by Quickutz and I bought it from a friend that never used it. It came in very useful here! I guess there is no real sign looking like this regarding what I put on it but I couldn't leave it plain, right? LOL
These are the markers that I used for the coloring:

And before I am going to say goodbye till tomorrow I am going to share another photo of my twins. Since a few asked me to show a pic of them with their little school cones I've been sharing last week. So, here you go:
It was very very early in the morning and they really weren't in the mood for taking pictures that time so sorry for their faces. It's not that they didn't like the cones (they loved them!) - it was just the fact of me taking a picture.LOL
See you all tomorrow!

Sassy Sneak Two!
Hello Sassy Fans!! Did you all enjoy Erica's sneak yesterday, do you wanna see more?? Well, I am here to serve, so may I present to you....
The ever so stunning(even when traveling)...
'Travel Lite'. She totally has it all under control if she can look like that when traveling, don't you think...I usually look like I just crawled out of bed, lol. Anyway, you didn't come here to listen to me blather. Here's what I made with her...
This is really outside my norm again, but I really loved these papers together and decided just to go with it. The Whimsy sentiment seemed fitting for just about any occasion and went with the image too, yay!!
She's actually sitting on a pocket so i can easily update the month stamp if needed. Sorry I don't have colors for you as I colored it at two separate times, but I can tell you I got that rich red by putting down a layer of E31 before my reds(R29,27,&24)
Well, I will leave you with that today. I hope you've enjoyed this sneak.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
