And we're Open!!!

Hello Simply Sassy Fans.
Finally We get to open this blog :)
Before I introduce myself and my Sassy girls I just want to tell you about a few things..
From February we will start with Fan spotlight and we will be looking for you Sassy card makers.
We will firstly go looking in the blogs of our followers and those who leave comments. So be sure to leave comments so we notice you and have a email address in your blog or profile so we can contact you.
We will also be starting up Tutorials in February, we're all a bit new to making tutorials but we hope we can inspire you with the things we make.

Each girl on the Simply Sassy team will make their own posts here so it will not be only me chatting away. That way I hope you get to know each of us. And we all love if you will come visit our blog's too :)
So next week we will start showing off our Sassy cards :)

Later this week I will open up a Guest dt call so be sure to follow if you would like to be a part of our team for two months :) Exiting don't you think...

So now I want you to meet my Sassy girls and I have also written a few words about myself

Tracey

Hi everyone, I’m Tracy from Crafteezee. I have been married to my understanding Husband for 24 years, this year will be the big one, and I have two lovely children, Jade who is 18 and my son who is 15, I know I don’t look old enough, lol.

I started making cards around 5 years ago and quickly progressed into scrapbooking, just so I could keep some of the work that I had done. Just before Christmas 2010 I was inspired seeing some stamped cards in blogland and decided to make a few Christmas cards. It wasn’t long before I realised that my true love was making cards and by January 2010 I had started my blog http/www.crafteezee.blogspot.com. I am now addicted to stamps and my copic markers/prisma pencils . I am craft mad and if I am not in my craft room, I am on my laptop or my iphone, well according to my husband that is. I also work full time as a Purchasing Office Manager for an automotive company, so I am generally a very busy lady, but one who always finds time to craft.

I am delighted to have made it onto the Simply Sassy Team and is another excuse to have to make another card using these fabulous stamps.

Hugs Tracy x

Kathrin
Hello everyone! I am Kathrin from Germany. I just turned 36, am married to my 2nd husband since 9 years now and I am a mom to 3 wonderful daughters: Vjelisa who will be 16 soon and my twin daughters, 9 years old. My nickname Kruemel was given to me by my husband - it means "crumb(s)" and he gave it to me because I leave those everywhere where I have cookies or chocolate - and since I love those I eat them everywhere and everytime!LOL

I loved crafting ever since I discovered paper and pencils (I guess I was about 2 then) and tried many different things. I started scrapbooking after my twins were born - and from there it was just a small step to stamping. Now the unscrapped photos are piling up since I can´t stop stamping and making cards.LOL Lucky me that I am a staying at home mom and with the girls getting older I have lot of time to live for crafting. And since my husband is working many nightshifts and also playing in a band I also have many evening hours that I can craft the time away. Can you believe that in our house my craft room is even bigger than our bed room? Well, that´s real addiction - and love from my hubby, right?LOL

I am so happy to have made it into this team! I love these wonderful Simply Sassy images and am so proud to be able to present them.

Erica

Hi Sugar Addicts! My name is Erica, I'm 40 years old and I live in The Netherlands. I have two British Shorthair cats and work full-time as an administrative assistant. About five years ago I fell in love with stamping and I've been building a collection ever since...pretty soon I'm going to have to expand my craft room ;o). I simply adore the Sugar Nellie stamps and love the quirky, big-eyed beauty of the Simply Sassy girls; I'm just over the moon to be on this DT as you can guess!

What else is there to know about me? Love reading, going for long walks, snooping around in blogland and I'm learning to ride a motorbike. But most of all I love making cards, boxes and altered "anythings"!

Autumn
Hi there Sassy fans! My name is Autumn, I'm 31 years old and a SAHM to four crazy, but beautiful kids. I will be married to my wonderful husband Tim, 10 years in March. DH is an ARMY man so clutter is not his thing, but he does a pretty good job of ignoring my craft stuff most of the time and pretty much lets me buy what I want(within reason) so I can't complain too much.

Art has been a part of my life since my brother taught me how to color when I was about four. In high school I was drawing portraits, in college I was writing poetry, and shortly before I was married I was introduced to scrapbooking via Creative Memories. I just stumbled across blogs in February 2010 and wanted to enter a scrapbooking contest and needed a blog to do so, that's when my journey began. A short time later I discovered you could do so much with cards and I wanted to know more. I started buying stamps, got some copics, and I was hooked!

I've these new Simply Sassy stamps and I'm extremely excited and honored to have been chosen to be a part of this team!

Maria Therese
Hello Simply Sassy fans I'm Maria Therese. I just turned 31. I live in Norway with my two sweet girls who will be 2 and 6 this year, and my sweet husband. I work as a hairdresser and I love making Cards and Scrapbooking. I've been scrapbooking since my Oldest was born an have been making some cards along side with that. For about two years ago I started making more and more cards so I have to keep reminding myself to make a scrapbook page every now and then..
I fell in love with Sugar Nellie stamps almost 3 years ago (I still keep that little mail I got with the link to Funky Kits where I could find the cute stamps that I had just fallen in love with in February 08). I was so happy to be picked as Sugar Bowl Sweetie last October. And when Karen asked me Early December to be Dt and blog coordinator for her new Simply Sassy Dt and blog I couldn't answer Yes fast enough. (And I'm still smiling Karen) I hope we will bring you lots of Inspiration through this blog.

That's it for now will be back later this week to post the guest dt call.. so don't keep your Sassy stamps far away.. Don't have any?? Not to worry Funky Kits have plenty of them...
And the Simply Sassy stamps you can find here

Lots of hugs Maria Therese

  2. God Eftermiddag Maria Therese,
I'll stick to English here but I had to laugh as someone is determined for me to keep my rusty Swedish in practice.
