Hope everyone had a good weekend. My OH went on his company christmas do on Friday evevning and nearly fell through the door at mighnight. Needless to say a typical man, not knowing when to stop. He suffered all day Saturday, ahhhhh bless........ not. So I had a chance to enjoy a peaceful crafting day, lol.
I'm really enjoying playing with these soon to be released Simply Sassy Stamps...... and tomorrow we have a blog hop, so don't forget to come back, there will be candy, candy, candy. You'll need to start here at the Simply Sassy Inspiration Blog , so if you don't want to miss the hop make sure your a follower.
Today I am previewing to you "Windswept", which will be available from Sugar Nellie FunkyKits HERE real soon. Doesn't she have the most gorgeous hair, think she's going to be one of my favourites!
I have stitched the back panel using zig zag stitch on my machine. Can't believe I have a sewing machine for stitching card, I've never sewn before I crafted, lol.
I have coloured Windswept with the following copics:-
Hair - C9, C7, C5, C3
Skin - E11, E00, E000, R21
Clothes - B28, B26, B24, B21, R85, R83, R81, R00
I have used Tim Holz Aged Mahogony Distress Ink to ink the edges of the paper/cardstock, doily and the beaded ovals in the nestie frame.
The ribbon is seam binding that was white and I have inked it using the aged mahogony distress ink to match the card.
Well I hope to see you tomorrow on the hop.
WOOOOOOW ok this one is my FAV I think from the release! But then I have a list and they all so far happen to be on it! Tracy WOW girl this is amazing, your colouring WOW and WOW, did I say WOW already? Breath taking!

Soooo gorgeous as always Tracy! Luv your colour combo and lo and I have to agree, she does have beautiful hair! Will definately be back tomorrow to join in with the blog hop. Lotsa luv xxxx
ReplyDeleteThis is a really instructive card for me - the multiple interleaving of the layers really softens the edges & dreaws the eye in to see where - that top left swirl pulling the eye in to the brad & in turn to the centre of the top flower. I love all the folds in her clothes & the hari colouring, such life. I can see why she is a favourite of yours. Your colours are just lovely & that lace woven through one of the layers is an amazing touch. I shall save this for my design homework. The studs on her skirt are a lovely touch.
