With 3 girls in the house you can never have enough of those girlish birthday cards. And
Fabulous Darling
is the perfect image here! Who doesn´t love to put on make-up and dress up for a fun night with your friends.
On my card I went with a pink, black and white color sheme which for I used these Copic markers to color:

For a little extra I added stickles to her skirt and the bow in her hair. And the cardstock I used for matting is a silver mirror cardstock which unfortunately is so hard to take a photo of because it always seems to look like black on those photos (or even worse you can see me in it LOL).
Around the flourish I used some pink and black gemstones and again a lot of paper layers... The papers are by Magnolia, My Mind´s Eye and First Edition.

Delightful the way you've captured the smokey blue/black tones in the paper & flower with your colouring & that hair is just stunningly coloured.
ReplyDeleteLove how the little bit of black lace really pulls the eye toward the lace of her stockings, dress & blouse - the texture just gives such a sort of hint that you cannot help but feel the texture in the colouring.
