Simply Pink!

Hello ladies, time again for a little lazy-Sunday inspiration! Today I made a pocket for you with a ribbon lift...what are you talking about you ask? ;o) Well, I first saw this pocket on SplitcoastStampers and thought it was just ingenious! The ribbon goes around whatever you want to put in the pocket, a sachet of instant chocolate milk in this case, through the slits at the top, tie a bow and then gently pull at the bow to lift the sachet out! Anyway, you'll see when you look at the pictures ;o)

For today's project I used Tammy, another adorable new member of the Simply Sassy family! Tammy loves the fact that she has the same name as the little Scottish hat she has on her head, and over the years has collected so many "Tammy's" that she has a whole closetful! She wears one every day and she has them in a gazillion colours of course, but the pink ones are her favourites ;o)

Materials used:

Stamps:
Simply Sassy
"Tammy"; sentiment by Kaisercraft
Papers: Maja Design
Embellishments: Kars adhesive pearls; ribbon from stash
Tools: McGill Starburst punch; MFT Die-namics flower; Stampin' Up! slit punch; chalk
Copics: E00, E51, E93, E21 (skin, cheeks); R85, R83, R81 (clothes, hat); C3, C2, C1 (coat, hair, "snow" (grey snow, must have been there a few days ;o)), eyes)

That's it from me for this week, hope you have a lovely Sunday and I'll see you next week!

Hugs,
Erica

  5. I just love the colours you've used & the way you've coloured that cape & her Tammy hat. Love your story about her too - absolutely delightful. I particularly like that you used a grey ribbon & not a pink one & that distressing is so soft & effective.
