Simply Vintage

Hello all, this week I had a play with one of the older Sassy girls which I hadn't had a chance to ink up yet... I enjoyed myself thoroughly colouring in this little beauty and making a differently shaped card for her to sit on (this card pattern can be found on SplitCoastStampers, also an oldie ;o)).

Isn't she pretty, sitting there waiting for spring to arrive? She longs to chase butterflies, pick flowers and feel the sun on her face again after a long winter!

Materials used:

Stamps: Simply Sassy "Hippie Chick"; sentiment by Papertrey Ink Paper: Bazzill Basics cardstock white, kraft; Paper & Pictures "The First Collection" DP Embellishments: Kars adhesive pearls Tools: MFT Die-namics flower trio, doily and butterflies; Martha Stewart leaf punch Copics: E00, E51, E93, E21 (skin, cheeks, lips) E44, E43, E42, E41 (hair, shoe) BG0000, BG01 (clothes, flowers, headband, legwarmers, eyes)

That's all I have for you today, hope my blast from the past inspires you ;o). Don't forget about our blog hop next weekend, that's going to be loads of fun, and of course Tracy will be back tomorrow with a stunning creation to get the crafty week off to a good start!

Have a lovely day, thanks for stopping by!

  8. Terrific - those dies are gorgeous, especially the kraft butterflies & I love the way you've decorated that Spring Card - I've not made one in ages. I love the little doily too - so pretty with this & that striped padnel is lovely. Your colours are lovely & this really cheered me.
