Hope everyone had a great weekend, it's my birthday tomorrow, and I'm really looking forward to receiving some handmade cards, woo hoo................don't think I have any pressies to open, but this is what happens when you get older. Definitely no crafting goodies as everyone thinks I'm bonkers, lol!
For today's post I have used Guinevere and I have, wait for it....... yes again something different for me, I have coloured her using nothing but my prisma pencils. I have gone for the distressed theme and used loads of white acrylic paint. I'm going to let the pictures speak for themselves:-
Ingredients:-
Image is Guinevere available from Funky Kits HERE
Postcard stamp - unknown
Papers by Websters
Lasercut Chipboard Butterfly Flourish available from Make It Crafty HERE
Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafats
Butterfly is Tim Holtz
Martha Stewart Frond Punch
Nesties Oval
Victorian Velvet Distress Ink
White Acrylic Paint
Pearls, Lace, cardboard and Muslin cloth from Stash
That postcard is lovely with the acrylic paint distressing it & stamping it onto kraft(?). The white chipboard flourish gives lovely interest with the swirling trail of the butterflies & I just love how those butterflies in the paper plus that TH butterfly pick up on the butterfly theme. The touch of blue in her eyes picks out the bluish tinge of the white & the pink too. As for the colouring - lovely & soft with the pencils.
