happy birthday

Happy friday dear Sassy fans!

In our family a few birthdays are coming my way and so I wanted to be prepared and start making the cards early. Of course

Bella Bunting

needed to used on one of them!
I love her Sassy look and that big smile she has in her face because she's so excited and looking forward to the upcoming party. And that big bow in her hair makes her look like a gift herself.

Of course I needed to use some bright colors for her and picked up the banner from the image and repeated it on the card to make them match. Those banners seam to be very popular at the moment and I love to used them, no matter what shape they are. Here I decorated the middle part of the banner with a star so it's not looking too plain but also not taking all the attention from the image.

The saying is a german birthday greeting.
Papers are from my stash (sorry, I never know the brands of those single sheets I have), swirl die by Magnolia, banner die by Whismy Stamps.

And these are the markers I used for coloring the image:

Have a great weekend!

  9. Your colouring of the bow to tie in with the spotted papers is delightful & I love that steely blue-grey colour & your shading of her leg warmes. Brilliant colouring of her to pick out the colours of your papers too. Great fun.
