Autumn- Fairy Tale

Hey There, Sassy Fans! Autumn here with your Wednesday Inspiration. I hope you all are having a great start to your week. Well, I don't want to keep you too long and I've got a few pics to share, so I'll get on with it.

This is Simply Sassy's 'Fairy Tale' image and you can normally find her at Funky Kit's, but it looks like she's sold out right now. I have colored her with copic markers on x-press it blending card.

This card is kind of a twist on and easel card. I've seen it around and wanted to try it out, so this is my first attempt! The gorgeous DP's surrounding her are Basic Gray's Cappella and have been distressed with Tim Holtz's distressing tool and the edges were then colored with a couple of copics. The pearls and the small flowers were also colored with copics. The lace you see in this pic has been inked with some chalk inks to give it a sort of old feel.
Here's a closeup of this fabulous girl, I think she is my favorite so far....I always did want to be a princess when I was little, lol This beauty was colored with these copics...

It's kind of a mess of colors, I know, but I did a LOT of blending to come up with the colors on her.

Well, that's all for me, hope you have enjoyed my card today and find yourself inspired!

Please feel free to ask if you have any questions and don't forget about the Guest DT call going on now!
Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous day!

xxAutumn

  1. Unusually striking with the darker skin colouring - very effective how the pale blue of her dress really lift it sll. Love the format of the easle & the whole vintage distressed feel to the creation. The two highlighted corners being visible when the card is flat is such a lovely design which catches the eye & I love the way that the card looks when flat - so together.
