Hello Simply Sassy fans! I am so excited as this is my very first post as a guest dt on the Simply Sassy inspiration blog. I'm also a little nervous so please be gentle with me, lol.
Did you check out the beautiful project posted by Autumn earlier today? If you haven't seen it yet, please be sure to scroll down because you won't want to miss it.
I've used the gorgeous Hippie Chick on my card today. She's the very first Simply Sassy image I ever saw and of course I immediately fell in love with her. I'm so glad I ordered her (and a few of her sassy friends) because she was so much fun to color. You can find Hippie Chick and her Simply Sassy friends here.
She's colored with copics and colored pencils. I added tiny pearls to the blue flowers in her hair and used stickles on the other flowers in her hair. My papers are stitched and distressed with ink. I made a flower embellishment with the crocheted lace and added a pearl button. The butterfly and little flowers are also distressed and decorated with little pearls.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful evening. Please be sure to stop by tomorrow as we have a great tutorial by Kathrin.
Hugs,
Anita

Hi Anita, Wow! This is fabulous. No need to be nervous as the colouring is awesome and love the lace flower embellishment.

The crocheted lace flower is stunning & I love how you've picked out that soft pink in the patterned paper with her socks/boots (can never quite decide about them). Love your edging to that butterfly too. the stitching detail with the lace is such a lovely addition too & I particularly like the way you've echoed the shape of the flowers in her hair with your flowers.
