Sneak Peek - Missing You

Good evening Sassy friends!  I have a little sneak peek to share with you this evening.  As you may know, we have a new set of Simply Sassy images due to be released this Saturday.

Isn't she precious?  I used Missing You, one of the new stamps from Set 7.  I think her face looks a little sad and so maybe she is missing her sweetie?  She was such a dream to color, especially all that lovely hair!  I used my copics and colored pencils.  The flowers are from EK Success punches and I added a little pearl to each flower.  I added a few pearls in the corner too.  My layout is Erika's sketch from over at The Sugar Bowl.  There's still plenty of time to enter that challenge so stop by and get all the details.  This image and the rest of the fabulous Set 7 sassy girls will be available this Saturday over at Funky Kits.

Did you see Autumn's post earlier today?  If not, be sure to scroll down because you won't want to miss it!  I hope you can stop by tomorrow as I'll have a tutorial to share with you.

Stamp:  Sugar Nellie Simply Sassy - Missing You
Paper:  My Mind's Eye; Bazzill
Other:  Copics, Caran d'Ache and Prismacolor pencils, gamsol, MS branch punch, EK Success flower punches, Spellbinders, pearls

  6. Love how you use those touches of green to pick up the green of the check in the paper where the aqua stipe crosses the yellow. Your red matting is utterly effective & I do like your placement of those spotted flowers to balance the yellow spotty paper circle. She does look a little sad so I think your sentiment is very pertinent.
