Happy friday Simply Sassy friends! Nice to see you here!
Today I have a round card to share with you - that´s what inspired me to this title. Actually I am having a really hard time picking post titles.LOL
This is the last stamp I haven´t used from the last release - right in time for our new release blog hop tomorrow! I hope you all have marked your calendars!
To me this
Vintage Boutique
stamp is kind of timeless. First I was thinking about making a fashion themed card but then I ended up with this idea. I really love how she could be colored in pink and black for a "emo" card or - like I did - in sepia tones to make her look vintage.
I distressed all the papers with Distress Ink Walnut Stain, just a bit for a little worn out look. And to soften the whole look a bit I added a half round paper doily. I got those at a wedding area of the Dollar Store and they are huge. So I only used a half one here.
I went with a flower, a bit of film strip, a piece of lace and that keyhole to embellish the card. It´s pretty simple but I really love it!
The coloring was done with Copics - these are the numbers I used:

And I also want to share a popsicle card I made last week:
I used
Luv a Latte
here, that seems to be sold out at the moment. Since I wanted the image to match the card shape I replaced the coffee cup with that yummy looking ice cream. Later I got the idea that I also could have hand drawn the ice onto the cup in her hand...
Sorry for the bad pic but somehow I wasn´t able to get a good one of this card, no matter how hard I tried. ;o)
So, hope to see you all tomorrow for our blog hop!

Both of these are lovely original ideas, but I particularly like the first with the vintage colouring & that clock - the timeless steampunk connotations all pulled together with the design of the card, nice one!
