Simply Seeing Double

Hi everyone, hope you're enjoying your weekend! Today I'm showing you not one but two Sassy cards with my last set 7 stamps, as later today Lou is having a sneek peak for the new set, which will be released next week :D!

I've enjoyed working with these Steampunk Sassy girls, it's taken me out of my comfort zone and into a somewhat different style of card, and that's never a bad thing is it ;o). For my first card I've used Guinevere, I've kept things quite simple and to give it a vintagey feel I've distressed the edges of the design papers and added some flourishes.

For my second card I've used Boho Chic and an old sketch from Friday Sketchers, which is still one of my faves. Hope you likey!

Materials used:
Stamps: Simply Sassy stamp "Guinevere"; Simply Sassy stamp "Boho Chic"; Stempelglede background stamp; sentiment stamps from My Favorite Things
Paper: Bazzill Basics cardstock green, purple, kraft; Maja Design design paper
Embellishments: charm; string; Queen & Co pearls; Papertrey Ink ribbon
Tools: QuicKutz antique flourishes, accolade; EK Success retro flower punches; My Favorite Things doily; Heidi Swapp distress tool
Copics: E00, E51, E93, E21; V95, V93, V91; E44, E43, E42, E41; YG63

That's all from me today, have a lovely Sunday and don't forget to check back later to see what Lou has in store!

Hugs,
Erica

  6. the softness you achieve with your Copics colouring is lovely & I love your use of Kraft & the Stempelglede background stamp in both of these. Your flowers are lovely too, especially the way you use pearls with them. I like your distinctive shape in the first with the contrast of that lovely bow & in the second it is the little flower charm echoing the flower shape in reverse that catches my eye.
