Puppy Love and something useful

Happy friday! This is Kathrin with another post to inspire you. Actually I have two projects to share again. The first one is using one of the stamps from the newest release:

Puppy Love.

I am unable to find it over at Funkykits so it might be out of stock at the moment...

I started this card and while I did the coloring I was thinking about what to use as embellishments. Then I remembered this stamps wheel one of my twins bought a little while ago. It shows paw prints all over and so I used the entire wheel on the white ribbon/tape and just single prints for the flower centers and metallic frame. When I then also found those bone charms and paper in my stash I was really happy!

I really think this stamp is great not only for christmas cards but for any card you plan to give to a dog lover!

These are the Copics I used for the coloring here:

Well, I have been talking about two projects so here´s the second one, made using an older stamp of the Simply Sassy range

I Love To Read:

For some reason those images with glasses are my favourites...

Here I made a little box where you can store some note papers in. And the sentiment says "you have to write down what you can´t keep in mind".

To me this is the perfect image with this sentiment - she looks a bit like one of those kids that always forget stuff, loose stuff or fall over their own feet... So having some note papers at hand for sure doesn´t hurt.LOL

Here I used these Copics:

Okay, so I am wishing all of you another wonderful weekend - and just in case the weather where you are is as bad as here in Germany: lots of happy crafting!

  2. Both of these are great! I love your coloring. I also adore the images in glasses (and for some reason, I am drawn to umbrella and apple images, too). Great stuff you've posted here!

  4. Lots of rain here in South Wales. Those pawprints & bones are brilliant with the first image & i agree - it's not just for Christmas. I love the idea of the second with that sentiment & the colours are such fun too.
