Guinevere loves to read...

Or, I do at least, lol. Hello everyone! Autumn here and finally reporting back from my home base! Oh, it's wonderful to be home, tho it's only been about 12 hours and I've got a long day a head of me, but it was nice to be back in my own bed. Ok, well, I'll get on with it!
You may have guessed from the title that I've made a bookmark, but mines a little different, so here it is...

I got a few books while I was gone and I'm in desperate need of a bookmark...I hate curling pages, and Guinevere(available at Funky Kits) just seemed like the perfect fit. So, what's different about this you ask?? Well....

It's magnetic! I'm not a big fan of tassels and I have a two year old that is, so I decided to think outside the box a little. Lucky for me I just happened to have some thin magnetic sheets lying around. So, I cut an extra sheet of paper for the back of the bookmark, folded it and stuck magnets to both inside sheets then put it on the back of the bookmark and there you have it! Easy peasy!

Here is what it looks like on the page and as you can see you can fit quite a number in there if you like.

Well, that's it, I spruced up the kraft cardstock with a background making stamp and some butterflies from BoBunny.  Thanks for stopping by and if you haven't yet checked out Anita's beautiful card be sure to do so, its her last week here with us and we've all loved having her and I'm sure you have too!

Have a great day!

  4. I do like this - the colours are super together & I had to laugh for I'm commenting backwards & wonder if this pink & kraft is the new colour trend? Brilliant idea with the magnetic sheets & definitely two-year-old-pull-out-of-book proof.
